Recent Results: Extended Abstracts

Call for “Recent Results Extended Abstracts

2016 IEEE Sensors Application Symposium has received more than 130 papers submitted and the event is going to respect its tradition by gathering together a large number of researchers involved in the the fields of Sensors and Sensor Applications.
 
We invite to submit your Extended Abstract of maximum three pages. Each paper must be within the scope and topics of SAS 2016, follow the same formatting guidelines provided on the SAS 2016 website, explain the significance of the technologies/methods/applications in the paper, and contain a list of key references.
 
Submission Deadline: February 28, 2016
Acceptance Notification: March 6, 2016
Author Registration Deadline: March 10, 2016
 

Call for Papers

Student Travel Support

SAS 2016 is pleased to offer student travel grants.
Award recipients must meet the following criteria:
i. The paper must be marked as a student paper in EDAS

ii. The student must be the first author

iii. The student must be registered & attend the Symposium

iv. The paper must be of high-quality content and be favorably reviewed by the SAS 2016 Steering Committee

Student Travel Grant winners will be notified shortly after the January 22 notification date.

Welcome to SAS 2016

Sensors Applications Symposium is a unique opportunity for researchers and developers working in the field of sensors and their applications. General and special sessions will be dedicated to sharing experience and knowledge in the field of sensor technologies, sensing methodologies and applications for sensors as well as the role and the use of sensors in strategic fields ranging from environment monitoring to ambient assisted living. A strong effort will be also dedicated to promote networking activities through formal and informal events.
